Q:Is Aquarium Store Finder free?
Yes! Aquarium Store Finder will always be free to hobbyist users.

Q:So how does the site pay for itself?
The site is supported (barely) by ad revenue. We accept direct advertising inquiries and work with Google Adsense to provide interesting advertisements for you.

Q:How can I explore other locations?
There are severals ways that you can explore locations. The simplest is to enter a location at the bottom of the map and click 'Explore'. Since the map is based on Google maps, you can also drag (click and hold) the map in any direction or zoom using the controls in the upper left hand corner.

Privacy and Security
Q:Why do you need my e-mail address?
Email addresses make ideal user names, as they are unique, and generally easy to remember. We completely respect your privacy. We'll never send you unsolicited email nor share your email address PERIOD!

Q:Why should I register?
Registering allows us to offer you some valuable services. Your default map will be based on your home zip code. You will be able to contribute to the site by adding or updating store profiles. You can also write store reviews. Optionally, you'll receive email when a new store open near you.

Q:Why do you require a United States Zip Code when registering?
Your zip code allows us to build a customized map for your local area. You can always explore other areas, but your zip code defines your default view of the map.

Q:What should I do if I've forgotten my password?
Navigate to the login page, provide your email address (User ID), then click the 'Forgot your password?' button. We'll send you an email right away with your password.

Q:How do I change my password?
After logging in, click the 'Manage Profile' link in the upper right hand corner. Fill in the form with your new password.

Q:Can I change my email address?
No. Your email address is your User ID. If you would rather use a different email address, just register using the new eamil address.

We're very interested in your feedback. Bad, good, or constructive we want to hear from you. Just send us an email.

Store Information
Q:How do I get additional information about a store?
Just click any of the blue markers on the map to see additional details. You'll find contact information, reviews, customized driving directions and more.

Q:Can I write a review of a store?
Of course! Just click on the store to reveal its profile, click the 'Write a review' button and then fill in the form. Other users will see your review immediately.

Q:Can I update a store's profile?
Unless a store owner has 'claimed' it, all registered users can update a store's profile. Just click on the store to reveal its profile, click the 'Update store profile' button and then fill in the form. Other users will see your updates immediately.

Q:Can I add a new store to the map?
Yes! That's the whole idea! Just click the 'Add New Store' button at the bottom of the map, fill in the form, and we'll take care of the rest. Other users will see the new store immediately.

Q:I own or manage a store and would like to 'claim' its profile. How do I do that?
Just send us an email and we'll set it up.
